When you get down to it, we’re all one big family. Capistrano Unified School district is a family of schools. Those schools are supported by a family of foundations and parent teacher associations (PTAs). While most schools have a foundation that supports their educational efforts, it can be hard to locate them. So we’ve started a list with links. For now it’s limited to foundations supporting schools in Dana Point and San Clemente, CA, that would have benefited from Measure H or Measure I. Neither passed but came pretty close collecting over 17,000 combined Yes votes (42% and 45%, respectively). And many of those who voted No likely want to help but just didn’t agree with the specifics of the measures. So the desire to help is high and and supporting your location foundation is one way to do so. The list will be expanded to include all CUSD foundations directly associated with a school. We hope this makes helping easier.
